Tell Mayor Cranley to shut down the gun range
Whether white, black, or brown, we all want to raise our families in safe and enriching neighborhoods. Yet, CPD is using the black community of Lincoln Heights for an outdoor gun range. The constant loud gun fire, shots through homes and cars, and complete disregard is traumatizing and disrespectful. This action is calling on Mayor Cranley and CPD Chief Isaacs to SHUT DOWN the gun range.

Black Excellence in the Village
The Better Bus Coalition, in partnership with The Heights Movement (THM), is continuing the work to beautify bus stops and transit routes in the Village of Lincoln Heights (LH). We are excited to support THM on the launch of “Black Excellence in the Village” project, which highlights the marvelous history of LH and some of its greatest contributors to the world. This is also part of THM’s launch of becoming a My Brother’s Keeper Community with the endorsement of Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and in conjunction with the Obama Foundation.
Heights Movement grows as residents band together to end cpd gun range
Alicia Franklin's 4-year-old son is terrified to go outside most days during the daylight hours due to the almost constant sound of gunfire and occasional shouting coming from a location about 500 yards from their Lincoln Heights home. Her oldest son, who is 10, struggles to concentrate on the schoolwork he is doing remotely during the pandemic due to the noise.
